Kneeknockers Woods partners with Phi Delta Theta to help ALS Association

News

University of Nebraska at Kearney fraternity Phi Delta Theta is hosting a haunted woods to raise funds for Nebraska’s chapter of the ALS Association.

Grandpa Grimm’s Kneeknocker Woods is open from 7 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday nights from Sept. 29 to Oct. 29. The outdoor Halloween experience also is open on two Sundays, from 7 to 11 p.m. Oct. 22 and Oct. 29.

KneeKnocker Woods is set along an old wooded river that snakes through corn-planted agricultural land and features an abandoned zombie-infested community. Complete with graveyard, the attraction uses state-of-the-art outdoor animatronics to confuse the senses and entertain participants.

It is located 1.5 miles west of Gibbon at 46290 Hwy. 30, or 12 miles east of Kearney.

General admission tickets are $15 and can be purchased on location, or ordered online at https://www.kneeknockerwoods.com/. A $2 online discount is available by using the code 7116 when ordering. Coupons for $2 off are also available at Antelope Bookstore, Louie’s Diner, Nebraskan Student Union Welcome Desk or from any Phi Delt member. Kneeknocker Woods will donate $1 to ALS Association for every coupon used.

The coupon is not valid on Oct. 21, Oct. 27, Oct. 28 or with any other offer. Numerous ticket packages for groups, VIP and other admission deals are also available.
